Bergsonian, a. and n.|bɜːgˈsəʊnɪən| [f. the name Bergson (see below) + -ian.] A. adj. Of, pertaining to, or characteristic of the French philosopher, Henri Bergson (1859– 1941). B. n. A follower or adherent of Bergson. So Bergsonism |ˈbɜːgsənɪz(ə)m|, the philosophical doctrine of Bergson.
