† ˈbisulc, a. (and n.) Obs. Also 7 bisulk(e. [ad. L. bisulcus two-furrowed, two-cleft, f. bi- two + sulcus furrow.] A. adj. Cleft in two; spec. having a cloven hoof. B. quasi-n. A cloven-hoofed animal.
