brunsvigite Min.|ˈbrʌnzvɪgaɪt| [ad. G. brunsvigit (J. Fromme 1902, in Tschermak's Min. u. Petrogr. Mittheil. XXI. 171), f. Da. Brunsvig Brunswick + -ite1.] A type of oxidized chlorite occurring in gabbro in the Radauthal, Germany; spec. one with 5·6–6·0 per cent of silicon and six to ten percent of iron.
