seicentist, n. (a.)|seɪiːˈtʃɛntɪst| Also pl. ‖ se(i)centisti and with cap. initial. [ad. It. seicentisti pl., f. seicento: see next.] An Italian artist or man of letters of the seventeenth century. Also attrib. or as adj.
