† capiˈllation Obs. rare. [ad. L. capillātiōn-em, f. capillātus hairy, f. capillus hair.] The state or condition of being hairy or hair-like; hence, concr. a. a hair-like blood-vessel, a capillary; b. a capillary fracture of the skull.
