Catalanist, n. (and a.)|ˈkætəlænɪst| [f. Catalan + -ist.] One who favours the independence of Catalonia; usually attrib. or as adj. So ˈCatalanism, the favouring of independence for Catalonia; also, an idiom or mode of expression belonging to the Catalan language.
