ceratodus Zool.|sɪˈrætədəs| [mod.L., f. Gr. κέρας, κερατ- horn + ὀδούς tooth.] A popular name for the Australian lungfish, Neoceratodus forsteri, belonging to the order Dipteriformes; also, a genus of fossil fish related to this lungfish.
