sextillion Arith.|sɛksˈtɪljən| [ad. F. sextillion, f. L. sex six, after septillion, octillion.] The sixth power of a million, denoted by 1 followed by 36 cyphers. In American (following the later Fr.) use, the seventh power of a thousand, denoted by 1 followed by 21 cyphers. Hence sexˈtillionth a. and n. (in recent Dicts.).
