Hind. champak, Bengali champaka, Skr. chāmpākā, and allied Indian vernacular forms.] A species of Magnolia (Michelia Champaca), a beautiful Indian tree, bearing orange-coloured highly fragrant flowers; held in high esteem by the natives of India.
