Brit. |ˈkɒksmən|, U.S. |ˈkɑksm(ə)n| Plural cocksmen [‹ the genitive of cock n.1 (compare sense 20 s.v.) + man n.1, after e.g. statesman n.1, batsman n., marksman n., etc.] A man who is sexually promiscuous, esp. a man who is considered to be exceptionally virile or sexually skilled.
