Comice, n. (ˈkɒmɪs, ‖ kɔmis) [a. F. comice association, co-operative, spec. the Comice Horticole of Angers where the variety was developed.] A kind of dessert pear: = Doyenne du Comice s.v. Doyenne n.1 Also Comice pear.
