The simultaneous precipitation of two or more compounds from a solution; the removal of a substance from solution by binding to a precipitate.
1931Jrnl. Amer. Chem. Soc. LIII. 1236 The so-called coprecipitation of alkali oxalate with lanthanum oxalate is to be attributed to a double salt formation. 1932Jrnl. Phys. Chem.
