spermidine Biochem.|ˈspɜːmɪdiːn| [f. spermin + -idine.] A colourless liquid triamine, H2N(CH2)3NH(CH2)4NH2, which is found very widely in living tissues, in company with spermine, and has a number of metabolic functions.
