Danakil, n. and a.|ˈdænəkɪl, dəˈnɑːkɪl| Also Dankali |dæŋˈkɑːlɪ|. [Cushitic.] A. n. a. A member of a widely spread Hamitic people of north-eastern Ethiopia. b. The language of this people. B. adj. Of or pertaining to this people, their language, or the areas they inhabit.
