ˈdarii Logic.
A mnemonic word designating the third mood of the first figure of syllogisms, in which the major premiss is a universal affirmative (a), and the minor premiss and the conclusion particular affirmatives (i); thus, All A are B; Some C are A: therefore, Some C are B.
