Daubenton's bat Zool.|dəʊbɑ̃tɔ̃z| [f. the name of Louis Jean Marie Daubenton (1716–?1800), French naturalist + bat n.1] A species of bat, Myotis daubentoni, of Europe and parts of Asia. Orig. named Vespertilio daubentonii (1817).
