Ramessid, -ide, n. and a.|ˈræməsɪd, -aɪd| Also Rameside. [ad. Gr. type *Ῥαµεσσίδης, f. Ῥαµέσσης Rameses + -ίδης, patronymic suffix.] A member of the Egyptian royal family during the 19th and 20th dynasties.
