单词 | warm-blooded |
释义 | warm-blooded adjective A warm-blooded animal, for example a bird or a mammal, has a fairly high body temperature which does not change much and is not affected by the surrounding temperature. Warm-blooded animals also tend to be smaller in a warmer climate – as larger animals are better able to conserve body heat in cold climates. |
