释义 | Cephalochordatan. Zoology. With plural agreement: a small subphylum or class of elongated, fish-like marine invertebrates within the phylum Chordata, comprising the lancelets. Also: the members of this group (collectively or individually); lancelets. Cf. Amphioxus n. ΚΠ 1885 F. J. Bell Compar. Anat. & Physiol. v. 193 In the Cephalochordata we find an arrangement which reminds us of what obtains in the Annulata. 1949 New Biol. 6 113 The Cephalochordata are easily recognised as similar to the true vertebrates. 1962 D.
