Etymology: Partly (i) < Middle French communalité group of people living together, community (1351), variant of communalté , communauté commonalty n., partly (ii) an alteration (with suffix substitution: see -ity suffix) of commonalty n., and partly (iii, in senses 5 and 6) < common adj. + -ality suffix.With the form comunablete perhaps compare -ability suffix.
