1963 Amer. Jrnl. Psychiatry 120 594/1 In an attempt to evaluate a derivative of amitriptyline, MK-240 (protryptyline), where the ‘sleepiness’ was removed by a change in the chemical formula, the drug was studied in 61 patients with various types of depression.
