In plural as funsies, or (rarely) as a mass noun. Diversion, entertainment, fun. Often in for funsies: in order to amuse oneself; (just) for fun. Also occasionally as a count noun: a prank or practical joke.Sometimes (and in earliest use) spec. applied to a game of marbles played just for fun, where the players return the marbles won; opposed to keepsies, where the winner takes and keeps any marbles won.
