释义 | hog framen. Originally and chiefly Shipbuilding (originally U.S.). Now historical. A framework of beams usually fixed above the deck and extending the length of the ship, intended to add stability and prevent hogging (see hog v.1 2). Also: a similar framework or truss used in carpentry or engineering. Cf. hog chain n.
