Photogr. 88 445 Owing to the present scarcity of printing material it seemed worth while canvassing some of the old abandoned processes of photographic printing; the most probably useful seemed to be Kallitype. This was widely used before the days of P.O.P. and bromide. 1965 J. Kosar Light-sensitive Syst. i. 39 In the past, silver-iron printing papers were employed also for producing continuous-tone prints. This process was named ‘Kallitype’; its attractive feature was the possibility of toning the prints with toning baths.
