kvetchv.

Brit. /kvɛtʃ/, U.S. /kvɛtʃ/, /kəˈvɛtʃ/
Forms: 1900s– kvetch, 1900s– kvetsch, 1900s– kvetsh, 1900s– qvetch (rare).
Origin: A borrowing from Yiddish. Etymon: Yiddish kvetshen.
Etymology: < Yiddish kvetshen to talk about something at great length and (often) in an annoying manner, semantic development (perhaps reflecting an extended use along the lines of ‘to squeeze the last drop out of (something)’) of kvetshen to pinch, to squeeze, to press < Middle High German quetschen to crush, to bruise, to squeeze (see quest v.2). Earlier currency is probably implied by kvetch n.
North American colloquial (originally in Jewish usage).
intransitive. To criticize or complain a great deal. Frequently with about.
