Etymology: < Lolita, the name of the main character in a novel of the same name (1958) by Vladimir Nabokov (1899–1977).
Used to designate people and situations resembling those in the novel Lolita, in which the narrator develops a sexual obsession for a 12-year-old girl whom he regards as sexually precocious. Also attributive and in other combinations.
