Etymology: Either < mast v.2 + -ed suffix1, or < mast n.2 + -ed suffix2.
1. Equipped with a mast or masts. Frequently as the second element in compounds, esp. with prefixed numeral indicating a specific number of masts, as one-, two-masted, etc. (for more established compounds see the first element).
