单词 babion
释义

babionn.

Forms: 1500s babyon, 1500s babyone, 1500s–1600s babian, 1500s–1600s babion, 1600s babioun.

Etymology: Probably < Middle French babion (French †babion ) kind of small monkey (15th cent.; a1400 as babilion (perhaps influenced by association with babiller babble v.1)), further etymology uncertain; perhaps a variant of Middle French babouin baboon n.
