A modular system of proportion devised by the architect Le Corbusier, based on dimensions of 7 feet 5 inches (approx. 226.1 cm) and 3 feet 9 inches (114.3 cm), derived from the proportions of an idealized human figure six feet tall, and intended to be used for the coordinated design of buildings, their contents, and their surroundings.
