Designating a plexus of autonomic nerve fibres and ganglion cells located between the circular and longitudinal layers of the muscularis of the gastrointestinal tract; of or relating to this plexus. Frequently in myenteric plexus.The myenteric plexus is also called Auerbach's plexus.
