Origin: A borrowing from Latin. Etymon: Latin mustulentus.
Etymology: < classical Latin mustulentus full of must (only early (Plautus, 2nd cent. b.c.) and late (Apuleius, 2nd cent. a.d., qualifying autumn)) < mustum must n.1 + -ulentus -ulent suffix.
Obsolete. rare.
Resembling grape must, esp. in sweetness; full of must. Also (humorously): intoxicated by wine.
