Etymology: < panto- comb. form + -graphic comb. form, in sense 1 after pantograph n. With sense 2 compare post-classical Latin pantographia in a work title:1799 E. Fry (title) Pantographia; containing..copies of all the known alphabets in the world.
1. Of, relating to, or produced by means of a pantograph. Also figurative: reproducing copies like a pantograph (see quot. 1760).
