Origin: A borrowing from Latin, combined with an English element. Etymons: Latin Pēgaseus , Pēgasēius , -an suffix.
Etymology: < classical Latin Pēgaseus (also Pēgasēius) of or belonging to Pegasus ( < Pēgasus Pegasus n. + -eus : see -eous suffix) + -an suffix.
