Etymology: < phallo- comb. form + -cracy comb. form, after French phallocratie (dated c1965 in Robert Dict. alphabétique et analogique (1986)). Compare slightly earlier phallocrat n., phallocratic adj.
A society dominated by males; the dominance of men over women; the distinguishing belief of a phallocrat.
