1995 Trends in Ecol. & Evol. 10 155/1 Nemisys uses a graphical technique to identify the most-likely species by grouping together those with a similar appearance as promorphs. The promorphs are represented graphically, and by selecting the promorph that is most similar to the specimen, the identification is focused on a particular group of species.
