释义 | bedding inn. 1. Originally: the action or process of planting a seed, plant, etc., in a bed of soil (cf. bed n. 8). Later also: the action, fact, or process of embedding an object in a semi-solid substance, or settling something firmly into place. Cf. to bed in vb. 1 at bed v. Additions. ΚΠ 1778 J.
