Etymology: < resuscit- (in resuscitate v.) + -able suffix. Compare Anglo-Norman resuscitable (of a plea) that can be resuscitated (1321 in an apparently isolated attestation), Middle French resuscitable, ressuscitable capable of resuscitating (1517), French ressuscitable that can be resuscitated (1870, rare).
