单词 rondeña
释义

rondeñan.

Brit. /rɒnˈdeɪnjə/, U.S. /ˌrɑnˈdeɪnjə/
Forms: 1800s rondena, 1800s– rondeña.
Origin: A borrowing from Spanish. Etymon: Spanish rondeña.
Etymology: < Spanish rondeña (1823 denoting a flamenco-style song, 1847 denoting a flamenco-style dance), specific use as noun of feminine of rondeño (adjective) of or belonging to Ronda (although this is apparently first attested later: 1852 or earlier; however, earlier currency is implied by the noun rondeño ‘native or inhabitant of Ronda’ (1790 or earlier); < Ronda, the name of a town in Andalusia + -eño, suffix forming nouns and adjectives from place nouns).
A flamenco-style dance or song of southern Spain.
