Etymology: Alteration of soho int. and n.1 after see v. (compare earlier ho int.1 and how int.1). Compare also sa-ha n.
Now rare.
In coursing: used as a call to announce the first sighting of the hare. Also as n.: an utterance of this. Cf. soho int. and n.1 1.
