1927 Mineral. Abstr. III. 365 This mineral, named slavíkite (after the abstractor), forms minute, almost microscopic, crystals with the rhombohedron (1011) and the base (0001) equally developed, or tabular parallel to (0001).
1957 Mineral. Abstr. XIII. 369 Slavikite..associated with gypsum, pickeringite, and jarosite, occurs in Belgium at Stavelot on Revinian phyllites and at Val-Dieu on Famennian sandstone.
1968 I. Kostov Mineral. 500 Slavikite is trigonal, found in minute uniaxial negative crystals tabular on {0001}.
