Etymology: < post-classical Latin boniformis (13th cent.) < classical Latin bonus good (see bonus n.) + -formis -form comb. form2, after ancient Greek ἀγαθοειδής (Plato; < ἀγαθός good + -ειδής shaped).
Of the nature of goodness; forming part of or derived from the Good (see good n. 4a(b)); cognizant of moral goodness. Frequently (in translations of or with reference to the works of Henry More) in boniform faculty.
