Etymology: < un- prefix1 + resty adj.2Compare West Frisian ûnrestich, Middle Dutch onrustich (Dutch onrustig), Middle Low German unrostich, unrustich, and also Middle Low German unrastich, unrestich.
Now rare (chiefly Scottish in later use).
