The action or practice of inhaling and exhaling the vapour produced by an electronic cigarette or similar device. In early use, with reference to a cigarette-shaped device containing filter paper soaked in a nicotine-based liquid which emits vapours. In later use, with reference to a device which heats a liquid so as to produce an aerosol.
