Aomori

The story was originally to revolve around Jikisai Minami, a well-respected Zen Buddhist priest in Aomori prefecture.

Having passed through the city of Aomori we started to come down the east coast.

The prefecture of Aomori forms the northern tip of the mainland.

Every prefecture but Aomori produces some tea, but very little is grown in the prefectures of the extreme north.
