Kartlians

the Georgians living in the historical region of Eastern Georgia known as Kartli (mainly in the basin and tributaries of the Kura River). They speak the Kartlian dialect of Georgian. In the past the Kartlians were distinguished by several local characteristics of culture and everyday life.
