Kandalaksha Coast

a name for the northern shore of Kandalaksha Bay, on the White Sea. In its western part (from Kandalaksha to Cape Turii) the coast is high and rocky, with many offshore islands and reefs; east of the cape it is low and weakly dissected. It is covered with coniferous forests (pine, fir).
