Khaipudyra Bay

 

a bay (guba) of the southeastern part of the Barents Sea. The bay is 46 km long and 1–2 m deep; it is approximately 15 km wide at its mouth and 33 km wide at its midpoint. The western shore is high and steep; the eastern shore is low. The Khaipudyra and Korotaikha are among the rivers that empty into the bay. Khaipudyra Bay has semidiurnal tides with a range of approximately 1 meter.
