Leninskaia Pravda

a republic newspaper in the Karelian ASSR, published in Russian. Leninskaia pravda is published in Petrozavodsk six times a week. The first edition came out on Jan. 4 (17), 1918, under the name Izvestiia Olonetskogo gubernskogo Soveta krest’ianskikh, rabochikh i soldatskikh deputatov; it was subsequently changed several times and became Leninskaia pravda in 1955. Circulation, approximately 90,000 (1973).
