Mologa-Sheksna Lowland

 

a lowland primarily in the basin of the Mologa and Sheksna rivers. Elevation, 100–120 m. The southeastern section is occupied by the Rybinsk Reservoir. The relief is nearly flat. The lowland is composed primarily of sands; it is covered with pine forests and, in places, with mossy marshes. The soils are podzolic and gley-podzolic.
