Kolodnia

an urban-type settlement in Smolensk Oblast, RSFSR, situated on the right bank of the Dnieper River. Railroad station 7 km from Smolensk. Population, 14,700 (1971). Kolodnia has railway-transport enterprises, a woodworking combine, and a distillery.
